3 Signs That You Should Install A Frameless Shower Door In Your Bathroom

Construction & Contractors Blog

If you are thinking about making improvements to your bathroom, you might be thinking about installing a new shower door. If you don't currently have a frameless shower door, you may want to consider installing one. These are a few signs that this can be a good addition to your home.

1. You Want a Shower Door That's Easier to Clean

If you're like a lot of people, you probably don't like spending time cleaning your shower. Many shower doors with frames can be a pain to clean, since soap scum, dirt, and more can get into the grooves on the shower door and can be difficult to scrub away. You even have to worry about mold growing in the nooks and crannies on your shower door. The great thing about a frameless shower door is that you don't have to worry about debris getting stuck in all of these cracks and crevices. Instead, you can simply clean your shower door with a squeegee or with a microfiber cloth or a wad of paper towels and your favorite glass cleaner. It's a great way to make bathroom cleaning easier on yourself while ensuring your bathroom is kept nice and clean.

2. You Want a More Modern-Looking Bathroom

One great thing about installing a frameless shower door in your bathroom is the fact that it can instantly give your bathroom a modern look. Bulky framed shower doors can look very outdated and can instantly make your bathroom — and therefore your home — look a whole lot older than they actually are. Nowadays, many people love a streamlined look in the bathroom, and adding a frameless shower door is a great way to achieve this look.

3. You Want to Make Your Home Easier to Sell

Are you thinking about putting your home on the market? If so, you should know that bathroom improvements can be a great way to make your home more valuable and make it much more appealing to people who are in the market to purchase a home. If you install a frameless shower door, you might find that it's the improvement that you need to make your bathroom stand out to potential buyers.

As you can see, a frameless shower door can be a great addition to your bathroom. These are a few signs that this might be something that you'll want to look into doing to your home.

Pool House Parties: Building Your Backyard Escape

When I decided to turn my backyard into a pool and spa space, I wanted to have a pool house built. Adding a pool house would give me somewhere for everyone to shower and change without tracking pool water and dirt into the main house. I worked with a local contractor to construct a pool house with an outdoor kitchen, outdoor showers, and full indoor restroom facilities as well as a game room and changing rooms. I created this site to journal the process so that I could hopefully inspire others to do the same. I hope this site takes some of the mystery out of the construction process for you so you can build the backyard structure you've always wanted.
