By providing these tips to take care of your air conditioner and heater, you'll be able to avoid costly repairs, protect your home, and maintain even temperature conditions and utility bills. With that in mind, read this guide and apply these tips for the best heating and cooling maintenance for your home.

#1: Perform Your Own Seasonal Maintenance

If you want to be sure that you are able to keep your heater and air conditioner in the best condition, there are some critical seasonal maintenance tips you must follow. By performing the following seasonal maintenance tips, you will be able to keep your bills low and your HVAC system efficient. First, make sure that you change out your air filters quarterly in order to keep your system from clogging and overworking. Next, periodically check out the weather stripping to make sure your home is properly insulated. On a monthly basis, inspect your refrigerant lines and always keep your air conditioner and heater free of any objects that can create an obstruction.

#2: Take Good Care Of The Motor

In order to get comfortable temperatures on the inside of your home, you need to be willing to get your hands dirty in the utility room. Like the engine to your car, your HVAC system motor needs to be properly and continuously lubricated, in order to prevent slow down, rust, and corrosion. For that reason, you'll need to purchase a lubrication spray specifically designed for HVAC parts, so that you are able to keep each part of the motor from taking damage and becoming wasteful due to the engine having to overwork itself.

#3: Get A Preventative Maintenance Plan From Your Heating And Cooling Contractor

When you need to get optimum performance from you HVAC system, it pays to sign up for a preventative maintenance plan. Pool House Parties: Building Your Backyard Escape

When I decided to turn my backyard into a pool and spa space, I wanted to have a pool house built. Adding a pool house would give me somewhere for everyone to shower and change without tracking pool water and dirt into the main house. I worked with a local contractor to construct a pool house with an outdoor kitchen, outdoor showers, and full indoor restroom facilities as well as a game room and changing rooms. I created this site to journal the process so that I could hopefully inspire others to do the same. I hope this site takes some of the mystery out of the construction process for you so you can build the backyard structure you've always wanted.
